The Bling Button Bracelet (shown right) was originally published in the August 2009 Bead & Button magazine and was also included in Bead & Button's 2010 Creative Beading Volume published in the summer of 2010.
This particular bracelet uses a Czech glass button as the focal point and incorporates a lot of Swarovski bicones for the bling.

I have been involved with handcrafts in some form for my entire life. Immediately before beads became a part of my life, I was making applique quilts and teaching cake decorating classes. I came across some vintage beads in a specialty store and had to make something with them ... my entry into the bead world!
I've been fortunate to have made some wonderful new friends who have been both encouraging and supportive of my work. I've taken workshops from some of the foremost beadweavers in the country (and continue to do so whenever I have the opportunity!) and am now, myself, a bead instructor.
I've been a finalist in the Bead & Button "Bead Dreams" and two International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) collaborations, where I collaborated with two glass beadmakers, have been accepted in ISGB's juried competition and subsequent traveling exhibits of the finalists. Additionally, I have had projects published in the Bead & Button magazine.
Listed below are several bead related websites. The list includes several beadweaving/ bead embroidery artists who have taught workshops I've attended. I not only admire their artistic vision and beadweaving/embroidery skills but their work has certainly been an inspiration for me and a catalyst to expand my beading wings even farther. Also included are some of my favorite places to shop!
